Colorado Symphony Rebrand & Flyer Redesign

Role

Graphic Designer

Project Highlights

Researched and analyzed the original symphony season schedule to identify pain points in readability, hierarchy, and visual engagement.

Developed moodboards and design explorations, testing typography, layout systems, and color palettes to create an elevated brand feel.

Iterated through multiple design directions before refining a cohesive style that balanced artistic flair with practical legibility.

Executed the final redesign in Adobe Illustrator, leveraging grid systems, typographic hierarchy, and clean vector graphics to improve user navigation and accessibility.

Delivered a professional, print-ready schedule design that highlighted performances in a more interactive, visually compelling, and audience-friendly format.

As part of my Graphic Design & Text course, I was tasked with reimagining the Colorado Symphony’s season schedule flyer to create a more engaging and visually cohesive design. My goal was to transform a standard informational flyer into a piece that better reflected the artistry and vibrancy of the symphony experience.

Using Adobe Illustrator, I explored multiple iterations of colors, textures, and shapes before refining a final visual language. The redesigned flyer emphasized clarity, hierarchy, and interactivity while incorporating modern graphic elements to highlight the symphony’s dynamic performances.

The outcome was a fully rebranded, professional-quality flyer that presented the schedule in a way that felt both accessible and inspiring to audiences.
